Badgers Rest Villa - Tintagel

The lovely decoration at Badgers Rest made me feel right at home. The warm and cozy atmosphere was perfect for a senior woman like me. The general areas were well-maintained and easy to navigate, which was great for someone with mobility challenges. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel, such as handrails in the hallways and comfortable seating in the common areas. It's clear that the owners understand the needs of senior guests.

If I could ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be a larger font size on the information booklets. As a senior, I sometimes struggle to read small print, and it would have been helpful to have larger text to make it easier for me to access important information.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it offers both privacy and convenience. Guests can enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings, while still being within walking distance of shops, pubs, tea rooms, and coastal paths. the shepherd's hut is well-equipped and comfortable, providing everything guests could possibly need for a relaxing stay. the hot tub is a great bonus, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring.

The weather can sometimes limit the use of the hot tub, but this is beyond the hotel's control.

had the best time at badgers rest! exceeded our expectations from a previous stay in tintagel. loved the well-equipped hut, beautiful surroundings, and the warm welcome from the owner. the information book was so helpful and made our holiday even better. highly recommend!

It truly felt like a home away from home. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was for me. The general areas were well-maintained and easy to navigate, making it a comfortable stay for someone like me.

If I had one small suggestion for improvement, it would be to have more assistance available for us senior folks. While the children working there were polite and helpful, it would have been nice to have someone specifically designated to assist us with any specific needs or requests that arise during our vacation.
